In a recent press release, the airline Norwegian brings good news for divers in several European countries. New direct flights to Bergen, Trondheim, Stavanger and Oslo two times a week offers promising prospects for dive holidays.

Much better access, two times a week

Direct routes from Billund to both Bergen and Stavanger will please Danish divers, who now can reach the famous wrecks on the Norwegian west coast much easier than driving themselves.

Now there's no need to pay for expensive ferries and spend endless hours in the car – Bergen is just 1 hour and 20 minutes away by air.





Many options from Poland

Polish divers will also have easier access to diving in Norway with two new, direct routes to Oslo from Wroclaw and Poznan. Norwegian is also opening a new non-stop flight from Gdansk to Trondheim, opening up new parts of Norway to Polish divers.

Norwegian are already operating several routes from Warsaw, Krakow, Gdansk and Szczecin from Oslo, Bergen and Trondheim. New, direct routes will also be opened to Oslo from Kaunas in Lithuania and Düsseldorf, Germany.

Diver-friendly airline

Norwegian is quite diver-friendly, and offers 2 x 20 kg bags for very reasonable prices. A third «sports bag» can be purchased on top of this, although at a higher cost. Handluggage is 10 kg – it total, you can bring 70 kilos!

If you can't find a direct flight from your home town, rememeber that it's also very easy to fly to any Norwegian destination via Oslo. You'll find plenty of daily, direct flights to the Norwegian capital from all over Europe.
