One Ocean Dive Resort is located at Åros Feriesenter, where you stay in appartments or cabins, just a few yards from the dive shop.
At the dock two dive boats are ready for action – a fast 34 ft. RIB and a great 40 ft. dive boat with plenty of space both on the deck and inside. It even has an elevator at the back!
The RIB is great for longer trips in high speed, while the larger boat is perfect for slow journeys in the beautiful archipelago ourside the southern Norwegian coast. On these trips, lunch is included.
One Ocean Dive Resort has a large filling station for air, nitrox and trimix, and is also rebreather friendly – owner Carlo Golfetto is himself a JJ-CCR diver.
The diveshop has Sofnolime 797 in store, several 3 liter rebreather cylinders and a range of bailout tanks with different valves. Weights for JJ-CCR is also on hand.
Besides the wrecks, many of them from WWII, the area outside Kristiansand offers great nature dives with big walls, kelp forest, and sandy flat with plenty of scallops.
Owner Carlo Golfetto is taking very good care of his guests, and lunch is always included on daytrips – perhaps with scallops you just gathered yourself!
